The Empire Strikes Back; The Perilous Path To Freedom
The sudden collapse of the Syrian government in late 2024 has taken many by surprise among the resistance axis. Iran has lost an important linchpin of its Shi’ite crescent, Hizb’allah’s key land supply route has been severed, Russia’s presence in Syria looks uncertain and China appears indifferent to Syria and the pronounced Uighur presence among Turkish-NATO proxies now in control of Syria. Türkiye has stepped in Iran’s place as guarantor of the Syrian government, eyeing a potential Neo-Ottoman vilayat once again exactly 100 years after the abolishment of the caliphate. NATO and Israel have egged on Sultan Erdogan to do the heavy lifting in Syria and provide the shock troops, playing on his bloated sense of ego and the domestic problems facing the AKP including the presence of over 3 million Syrian refugees. In one fell swoop, the Americans and Israelis have potentially laid a trap for Türkiye if Erdogan’s AKP does not play its cards right. If Türkiye fails to reform its ally in Damascus like the Iranians and Russians failed to do with Assad, it too will get bogged down in the next Syrian quagmire whilst Israel and the US continue to feast on Syria like parasites. The watershed collapse of the last Baath government in the Middle East has exposed fault-lines among the anti-imperialist camp and triggered a temporary bout of pain for the BRICS+ ‘multipolar’ alternative to the American-dominated ‘rules for thee, none fo me’ based system. In short, the empire has struck back successfully in the short term with kinetic and intelligence subterfuge while the BRICS+ failed to match the empire in Syria. Over the longer term however, the outcomes remain far from certain especially with present trends of slow burn American imperial collapse. There will always be lost battles in the wider war.
Syria post-Assad in late 2024 is partitioning along sectarian statelets with foreign sponsors: An Alawite statelet along the north-eastern coast with Russian influence. A Sunni Arab and Turkoman statelet in the majority of the center and parts of the north under Turkish influence. A Kurdish statelet north-east of the Euphrates river under American protection and an Israeli land grab within a south-west Druze statelet. In the absence of national unity and a strong central government, future conflicts are all but inevitable, driven by foreign powers.
Here are some key challenges for the world which wishes to remain sovereign from Western imperialism within a Psychonomic History context:
Unprecedented Duplicity, Ruthlessness, Remorselessness and Shamelessness
When fighting an opponent not bound by shame, hypocrisy, remorse, wrongdoing, truth, morality or legality, this presents a very existential challenge to those who are bound by such matters and values. Winning against the forces of barbarism with one’s hand always tied behind one’s back will take long and at great sacrifice. The Zionists and Western imperialists are not bound by any boundaries of humanity: theirs is a raw and uncompromising, fundamentalist ‘all or nothing’ stance where messianic illusions of ‘winning’ trump any semblance of compromise or international law. Lying, stealing, cheating, gaslighting, killing and reveling in such base behavior is very common among proponents of Anglo American and Zionist imperialism. Supporting terrorism is also fine by Western standards. The greatest sponsors of terrorism have been Western governments, this truth has been well hidden from Western populations by sheer incredulity alone. Whether they be Islamic (Al Qaeda, ISIS, ETIM), Monarchist (Mohammad Reza Pahlavi waiting in exile), Communist (PKK/YPG/MeK) or Fascist (Azov, Right Sector, Aidar), Western policy-makers love funding, arming and training terrorists since the West is unable to provide ground forces directly. The potential blowback is rarely any cause for concern, even to its own citizens. How does a sovereign-seeking nation fight Western governments when they have no qualms in employing terrorism? It must utilize its own proxy counter-terrorist groups. When asked by an interviewer on the pager attacks in Lebanon, a Mossad agent responded with typical hubris: “We create a pretend world. We write the screenplay, we’re the directors, producers and main actors. The world is our stage”. The state of Israel is an affront to civilization and Israeli intelligence agencies spend most of their energies in the dark arts of scheming and subverting, therefore they are bound to excel at what they focus on. They can readily concoct 1001 ways to kill and maim opponents yet have been unable to figure out how to live at peace with their neighbors for the past 80 years. The Americans have spent the last 80 years engineering and perfecting a gargantuan global system that abuses and exploits the world, whilst passing it off as a ‘rules based’ system to its victims. They too have been unable to figure out how to live at peace with the world, which is essentially a toilet for Western elites. The British have hundreds of years of unrivaled experience in dividing and conquering subjects from all corners of the globe, usually at a distance and with minimal sacrifice of their own, preferring to leverage proxies and useful idiots to fight for them instead. This knowledge has largely been passed onto the US establishment. The British go one step further than the Israelis and Americans: they enjoy polishing the figurative turd and putting lipstick on their pigs, attempting at great length to convince their subjects that their subjugation is for their own good.
The UNGA vote for lifting unilateral US sanctions against Cuba exposes the lone 2 shameless pariahs in the world: US and Israel. The American-Jewish worldview is increasingly deranged and fails to appeal to common sense and reason. Their relative isolation on the world stage is set to continue as they have become totally bereft of any soft power in the court of world opinion.
There is only savagery and pretenses with the Western worldview. For 80 years, the West invested in pretenses to cover up their savagery. As of 2024, the pretenses have completely melted away and exposed the ugly savagery of empire for all to see. Anybody now falling for their cheap tricks can only blame themselves and their own ignorance. There have been enough psychological and historical warnings thus far, – the writing has clearly been on the wall since 1991 to those paying attention. The Zionist and imperialist usurpers who have hijacked American foreign policy have been conducting something that can only be described as completely fake and insincere bouts of ‘diplomacy’, leading on the world with red herrings while casually not only outsourcing their dirty work to Israel, Britain and Ukraine, but openly supporting and funding them at the very same time. This is a direct affront to anybody’s intelligence. Forces of civility fighting forces of barbarism are presented with a stark choice: become the monster you are fighting or remain true to your boundaries and suffer more than your opponent. The definition of ‘suffer’ of course is arguable – on what time frame? I am referring to immediate kinetic suffering, which always works in favor of barbarians. The Iranians and Russians have already shown to have a much higher tolerance of pain than their opponents in Israel and the US. The reasons are partially cultural – Iran and Russia’s culture of martyrdom and strategic patience. Whilst the West wages ‘shock and awe’ kinetic actions, propaganda blitz campaigns doused in loud and fake PR stunts and two faced backstabbing duplicity, this ultimately affords them their greatest advantage: they have liberated themselves from any morality. Russia has been waging a war in Ukraine for over 3 years, careful to avoid civilian casualties and sacrificing many of its men in the process directly as a result of such calculus. Meanwhile Israel has shown zero restraint in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria and inflicted tremendous losses on both adversary and civilian alike, making no efforts to distinguish them. ‘Hearts and minds’ are not part of any Israeli calculus, in fact, Israel as an entity is quite akin to the brutal Assyrian empire and its sister-rival Babylon, both of which had a knack for wanton force as a first-resort for ‘solving’ every single problem they faced before the Persian Achaemenid empire introduced a more civilized approach in their wake. The Babylonian Talmud is the authoritative Rabbinical text on Jewish jurisprudence and day-to-day affairs as the Hadith is for Muslims. There is a Babylonian connection to the Talmud, a morality (or lack thereof) that traces its roots to the debauched ways of Babylon. Should Russia stoop down to the level of Zionist savagery to achieve results? Russia has a bigger pack of strategic friends to cater to and it does not wish to become a globally despised brand as many Jews have the unfortunate habit of earning themselves. When one is not bound by shame, hypocrisy, remorse, wrongdoing, truth, morality or legality, this undoubtedly puts one ahead of the pack in terms of dictating confrontation and inflicting pain on adversaries. This is why the West has dominated the globe for so long. It remains the greatest dilemma for the anti-imperialist bloc. The West’s greatest advantage over time will inevitably morph into its greatest disadvantage. For the time being however, its adversaries need to be realistic and admit to the empire’s advantages as being disadvantageous to them. The seeds to every global empire’s demise are planted at birth but they take time to germinate. Just as financial markets can stay distorted for far longer than one’s bank account can remain positive, so too can geopolitical eras remain mired in injustice for far longer than one’s morals can tolerate. History’s momentous vicissitudes can take a long time to play out before mean reversion, and psychopaths as we know them are absolutely relentless in their quest for micromanaging the affairs of others.
BRICS+ Lack Of Military Alliance
The West is very good at war, divide and conquer, fraud, propaganda and general debauchery while passing it all off as legitimate. It is always easier to destroy something than to build it. The West is actively dismantling and discrediting its former system because it would rather rule over ashes than settle as a co-equal with the Global South in the new era. Western strategists often repeat absurd claims like ‘Russia is weak’ yet have no answers for the following question: If Russia was so weak as claimed, then why does the US need NATO? NATO provides the US with the ability to sub-contract dirty work to European vassals. This is an advantage the US wields, while the sovereign world represented by a nascent BRICS+ remains only an economic bloc with no such military backing. Note that the working definition of ‘sovereign’ here equates to ‘not colonized by the West’. NATO not only continued after the Warsaw Pact became defunct, but it escalated foreign interventions and expansionary policies to levels unseen during the Cold War. It thus proves to the world that Western hegemony does not entertain any notions of scaling itself back. Like a cancer with no self-check mechanism, it seeks to aggrandize itself until a war with the East delineates its outer boundaries. That war finally came to a head in 2022 in the form of a special military operation (SMO) on the territory of what is formerly known as ‘Ukraine’. While Russia’s CSTO is a miniature version of its own NATO, it is mostly a symbolic enterprise. By calling the war against NATO in Ukraine an ‘SMO’, its CSTO members were not obliged to enter the fray. Such nuances provide a glimpse into Russian calculus, who like their Chinese and Iranian counter-parts, are highly risk-averse and sensitive to their allies. The West on the other hand is prone to recklessness and cynically exploiting its vassals as expendable. The RAND papers ‘Which Path To Persia?’ and ‘Unbalancing and Over-extending Russia’ are being implemented as we speak, as cornerstone US foreign policy planks. RAND strategists do not hide their imperialistic ambitions and have significant clout at the CFR, Pentagon and State Department. In China, a book was published in 1999 by PLA strategist Qiao Liang dubbed ‘Unrestricted Warfare’, laying out the case for asymmetric responses to Western military provocations. The calculus has changed since 1999 for China, with a greater emphasis placed on the military dimension in light of America’s ‘rules based’ system implosion, but the book does speak for hybrid wars employing asymmetric methods that Russia and Iran also follow.
Meanwhile, Iran holds back meekly from striking US personnel on its doorstep and Russia vows to strike Ukraine every time Western missiles are lobbed into its undisputed territory. These meek responses only embolden the West, who have no concern for Ukraine or their own trip-wire forces stationed in Iraq or Syria. It is truly mind-boggling how the US is able to bribe, extort and blackmail so many vassals around the world into sacrificing their own national interests in deference to American interests. The most staggering example is the failed state of Ukraine, which has been transmuted into a suicidal corpse that is actively genociding its male population at the behest of Western states, who have no desire to sacrifice their own troops and have the bankrupt Ukrainian state in the grips of dependency on predatory financial lifelines. At the very same time, they are shamelessly attempting to persuade swathes of gullible Western populations that Russia is the one weaponizing everything it touches. The Western propaganda apparatus is an undisputed master in psychological projection: what Western elites accuse others of doing, they themselves do first. Most of the dirty work is done within a military-intelligence context. If BRICS+ does not solidify military clout to back up its emerging influence, it runs the risk of becoming a paper tiger, as the Western vultures circle the wagon and pick off each member one by one. The Anglo Americans are very adept at dividing, isolating and conquering their victims from the pack. The US is not afraid of using coercion, its empire feeds off it. In fact, without coercion, all those wonderful American ‘values’ that are repeatedly shoved down the throats of the world’s consumer class would fade away into merely background noise.
Does BRICS+ have a plan to deter NATO’s geographically challenged 4th Reich expansion with a military alliance structure? It won’t be long before the Northern Atlantic alliance hitchhikes to the Pacific after a boisterous night out drinking. While bilateral military alliances have been signed by Russia with North Korea and possibly in the future with Iran, China has not yet entered the fray of military alliance-building. China’s more insular outlook to remain committed only to its immediate surroundings in Asia-Pacific rather than wield around global military power, signals to its other BRICS+ friends that it may not be counted on for military support when things go hot. Stalin once quipped ‘How many divisions does the Pope have?’ when asked about the Vatican: when international relations fail, humanity settles only with brute military force – the ultimate arbiter of power. The UN is toothless and international law is non-existent in these circumstances. At some point, ‘strategic patience’ begins to rhyme with weakness and will need to become itself a distinct concept, especially in the face of an enemy entrenched with bad behaviors and a cancerous imperial existence. If one bears cumulative pain and makes very little gain to show for it, then one has the incentive to levy great pain to the adversary with little to fear in return. The Global South must stick together if it wishes to deter the American empire from devouring its members one by one whilst preventing them from coalescing into alliances. At some stage BRICS+ will require a military alliance structure akin to a NATO but with different agreement logic among equals, not the master-slave trip-wire agreement that is NATO, blatantly favoring one country over the rest and steeped in bluff (i.e. ‘Article 5’). The military alliance structure would be signed not by neutral states but by key BRICS+ states that cannot remain neutral in the face of Western aggression.
De-dollarization Takes Time
I have previously outlined the emerging BRICS+ financial infrastructure based on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) and how this could deter against Western sanctions and strengthen financial sovereignty. The involvement of so many players in BRICS+ slows down its development. The Western axis has plenty of time to rupture the world with its perpetual conflict machine and create myriad problems until then. Bar some extreme geopolitical events and technological breakthroughs, the US dollar will not be de-throned in years; it will take decades. If the US empire has decades to wreak havoc on the globe, it is already at an advantage.
Propaganda & Control Of Information Flow
The West wins the propaganda war hands down – not on substance, but in architecture and clout. The US runs the world’s biggest propaganda machinery in history. The reader may want to re-read that line again – I am not exaggerating. This system will be studied by future historians and psychologists. It really comes down to the American first-mover advantage in setting up the 3rd industrial revolution’s infrastructure on its territory, especially the web 1.0 and web 2.0 Internet. There is a very good reason why Zionism and Western imperialism needs the gargantuan network of lies and dishonesty: truth and justice are not on their side. For if truth and justice were on their side, they would not need this apparatus in the first place. The bigger the crimes, the bigger the lies needed to pathologically manufacture consent and persuade people in accepting increasingly lower standards. Zionism and Western imperialism are cancers on the globe – cancers expand without self-control and do not heal themselves on their own. In order to justify their acts of savagery and not spook the world of their bad faith too soon, they need to distract and downplay to hordes of gullible masses led astray by the likes of Meta, Amazon, Google, Microsoft and MSM organs. BRICS+ nations are not even competing in the game of courting world opinion except a few outlets here and there – they are not in the same league as the propaganda-savvy West. One does not need to match Anglo-American and Zionist duplicity and dishonesty, one merely needs to develop a global media network to purvey the other side of the story and give the Western propagandists a good taste of intellectual honesty and some well deserved disdain covered in humor. Western propaganda is like Swiss cheese, riddled with so many holes that dismantling the sand castle narratives, poking fun and exposing the truth is a relatively easy task to do. Western propaganda does not appeal to logic, reason, common sense, rationality, intellectual honesty or good faith. It has a lowest common denominator ring to it and is fundamentally anti-intellectual, appealing to base level emotions, antiquated ideological hogwash (Western ‘exceptionalism’) and knee jerk triggers. For a prospective BRICS+ competing propaganda system, there is no need to concoct elaborate lies to cover up previous lies – this wastes tremendous effort and human resources that Western propagandists seem keen to do because they have much to lose if humanity were to wake up to their machinations, pathological lies and mythologies. All one has to do is expose the lies and shine the light on the darkness in London, Tel Aviv, Brussels and Washington DC. It is why Western governments are censoring the Internet so wantonly: truth is an enemy in an empire of lies. Apparently the American-Jewish imperium has an ample pool of sociopaths to recruit from. People who enjoy engaging in sociopathy – the Wolf Blitzers, Anderson Coopers, Rachel Maddows and Christine Amanpours of the world, will always find employment at pseudo-intellectual organs such as CNN and other mouthpieces of the US establishment. The bar is set very low and what passes for ‘journalism’ in the Western MSM nowadays is quite laughable. The rest of the world merely needs to focus on exposing the true nature of Western policy and to ridicule Western propaganda tropes for what they are, appealing to logic, common sense and reason. That is all. There is no need for elaborate fabrication whatsoever. Western propagandists do not like being ridiculed or having their ‘efforts’ exposed. Even still, they do not understand humor or trolling because they conduct themselves as if they are masters of absolute truth. State level investment in humor and trolling of the Western narratives would go a long way. This level of clout falls on BRICS+ governments, not individuals such as myself. Alternative media and some Chinese and Indian media outlets are catching onto this approach, while Russian and Iranian medias have not yet caught on. The Russians in particular have a disdain for media theatrics but perhaps they could learn a trick or two by beating the West at their own game. This is a big area of improvement for the Global South – defending its voices and interests in the face of cacophonous noises from the American-Jewish intellectual wasteland.
The other imperative for sovereignty is control over domestic information flow. China has been ahead of the pack in this regard because it has the necessary resources and foresight. China has its own domestic alternatives to Google, Youtube, Facebook, Whatsapp, Amazon/Ebay, ChatGPT and virtually every single American digital platform. As a result, China shields its 1.3 billion strong population from Western degeneracy, regime change shenanigans and foreign infiltration. Russia too has blocked various Western platforms and is developing its own domestic analogues. Youtube, Whatsapp and Facebook have been blocked for Russian IPs recently due to non-compliance with Russian legal requirements but Russia has a longer way to go than China in this regard. Both China and Russia have severely limited foreign NGOs and CIA front organizations especially the notorious National Endowment for Democracy (NED) from operating on their soil. NED is a CIA front for US regime change operations and cultural subversion. It has a global presence among many target nations the US wishes to weaken and infiltrate. Recently, NED meddling has destabilized Moldova, Georgia and Armenia. Armenia and Moldova have fallen for NATO’s destabilization tricks while Georgia has resisted. Georgia is considering dismantling the NED and its spider web, which would be an important step in its liberation. NED is a grave threat to national security and needs to be banned, shut down and sanctioned by any nation seeking sovereignty. This is the path all sovereign countries should follow. In addition to NED, USAID and The Jewish Agency For Israel are insidious fronts for the CIA and Mossad and ought to be dismantled or severely restricted. If a country can, it should ban these NGOs and develop its own digital platforms that filter out American-Jewish degeneracy and influence, or follow the examples of China and Russia in utilizing domestic analogue alternatives to American and Israeli products, using open source products where possible, especially Linux distributions in preference to Microsoft Windows OS. Iranian cyber experts are some of the most prolific contributors to Linux patches. Israeli hacking companies NSO Group, Paragon Solutions and Cellebrite along with social media content moderators CyberWell are threats to free speech and should be avoided as they provide Mossad access to sensitive client information. As was recently seen with the pager attacks in Lebanon, Mossad used front companies in Taiwan and Hungary to sell booby-trapped devices to Hizb’allah. Supply chains can be infiltrated by bad actors so performing due diligence to supply chains and inspecting products from the inside out are absolutely essential no matter if the markets in question are black, gray or white or whether clients are public or private.
Cowardice
Inaction in the face of oppression is itself part of the problem. The rampant cowardice (and lack of unity) across the Arab and Slavic worlds for example, is why the British, Americans and Israelis have been able to get away with so much injustice in those regions. It truly boggles the mind how the lessons of Lawrence of Arabia from the Great War have been forgotten by the Arab world. There is not a single sovereign Arab country that currently exists. Regimes in Egypt, Jordan and the Gulf are all propped up by Britain, Israel and the US. Absolute monarchies in the Gulf and Jordan look up to Britain for internal stability, to Israel for anti-democratic surveillance tools and to the US for dollars and external security. Their elites are traitors who love money more than Palestinian plight or addressing injustices in the Islamic world. They believe that bribing their populations with oil wealth will be enough to compel them to put up with their tyranny. When mosques in Saudi Arabia are telling the faithful to ignore Palestine and trust the Saudi state instead, they are part of the problem. When Saudi media are whitewashing Israeli war crimes in Gaza, they are part of the problem. When the Egyptian government does nothing for Palestinians, they are part of the problem. When Jordan allows British and American trainers to train terrorists on its territory to invade Syria and allow the IAF to fly sorties over Jordanian airspace unimpeded, it is part of the problem. When the Lebanese state agrees to refrain from having an air force, it is part of the problem. These impostor Arab regimes are accomplices to Israeli and American crimes because they are run by cowards and traitors. Cowardice is an accomplice to oppression. Those regimes will need to be overthrown or reformed so that the Arab street can determine their fate without foreign meddling. The ‘Arab Spring’ quasi-revolutions that spread on Twitter and Facebook in 2011 may have begun with genuine grievances on the ground but were quickly crushed by Western intelligence once they began to address the real injustices facing the Islamic world. As such, they were not genuine revolutions that served the Arab street. The lessons of 2011 Tahrir Square must be studied and not repeated. There is a good reason why Egypt is the second largest recipient of US foreign bribe monies in the world. Qatar and Türkiye back political Islamism across the Arab world, the Ikhwan in Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and elsewhere, pitting them at odds with the Gulf absolutist monarchies and Iran’s own brand of revolutionary theocracy, and of course the Anglo Zionist brand of religiously driven chaos. The lack of unity is symptomatic of exploitation by foreign powers.
There is nothing normal or natural with the current configuration in the Middle East, relentlessly shaped by Anglo Zionists since 1917. It is an atrocity and an affront to the dignity of the people of the Middle East. The overthrow of the Egyptian, Saudi and Jordanian regimes will hurt the West tremendously. This is something the Arabs will need to organically lead themselves. Iran, Russia, China and Türkiye will not solve Arab affairs: only Arabs can. They can assist and help the Arabs only if they see that the Arabs wish to be helped with a desire to be sovereign, otherwise they will use the Arabs for their own purposes, just as the West does, although not quite cynically as the American-Jews prefer to do. One cannot help a man if a man does not want to help himself. In this case, the man will deserve his fate. The sacrifices made against Nazism during WW2 have been forgotten by the Slavic world, with the exception of Russia. Slavic countries are infatuated with the EU and US and have agreed to dismantle Soviet monuments that commemorate the defeat of the Nazis and are reverting to stupendous historical revisionism that deny Russian cultural achievements. The British and Americans bring out perfidy and cowardice in the people they subjugate – this is their advantage. Arabs and Slavs have deep cowardice issues, this is why they remain unstable battlegrounds for foreign players. Contrary to false impressions of being ‘civilization builders’, the British and Americans thrive off corruption far more effectively than any civilization ‘building’. Without exploiting corruption, they would not have attained global empires or protection rackets. Once they subjugate their subjects, they immediately seek out corrupt warlords and tempt them with worldly pleasures in exchange for a false sense of autonomy and outsourced local oppression. The Anglo Americans are masters at the Faustian Bargain. The behavior is itself devilish and something Mephisto would be proud of. The oppressed world must rise up and stop falling for these tricks. There is ample historical evidence to not trust the Anglo Americans and Zionists. But the world is a large place and corruption is still far too ubiquitous. The prey outnumber the predators and it remains a predator’s playground. While information and technology are antidotes to said chicanery, ultimately it is the dismantling of the American financial system and its global racketeering pipelines that is paramount, including British controlled tax havens in the Caribbean. This will ensure that the global coward class are not rewarded with seemingly unlimited funds by dangerous messianic imperialists. The US cannot bribe the world forever. Those bribes in turn hold together an untenable configuration in various regions, most pronounced in the Middle East. Cowardice is rewarded by outside powers when conditions steeped in desperation, injustice and war are rife. Some parts of the world need more sovereignty, economic development and peace, especially the Middle East. BRICS+ should take note.
The US embassy in Beirut is the second largest US mission in the world after Baghdad. There is nothing ‘normal’ about this massive spy den: it is symptomatic of a voracious colonialist foothold serving Israeli interests and keeping Lebanon weak and divided perenially.
Taking a Page From The Western Imperial Playbook
Sometimes, the anti-imperialist resistance bloc needs to take a page or two from the Western handbook. Russia’s muted and asymmetric response to the overt bombing of the Nordstream II pipeline, terrorist attacks on Russian soil and sabotage against Russian vessels (Ursa Major) will only encourage and embolden Western piracy and terrorism. Until the West feels real kinetic pain, it will continue to escalate. Here Russia needs to levy a hard kinetic symmetric response against Western interests at every major Western escalation, not just asymmetric responses confined to Ukraine alone. I understand that there are unwritten rules of clandestine proxy wars between Russia and the US, but Russia must not be fooled by Western deception. The war is existential, not any run-of-the-mill proxy war. Iran on the other hand, has been playing a Sisyphean game with its Shi’ite crescent, which now has gaping holes in the Levant. In Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, Iran has virtually deployed no air cover or air defenses to protect its ground assets. This has been a very detrimental policy. Consequently, the IAF has pummeled its regional ground assets unimpeded. Iran too needs to take a strategic pause and re-assess its capabilities. Bringing a knife to a gun fight is a fool’s errand. More investments in a powerful air force, air defense production, regional intelligence spy networks, cyber hacking operations, satellite technologies and AI will go a long way towards leveling the playing field with Israel’s unfair advantage thanks to its parasitism of US resources and unlimited cover which affords it an extreme sense of impunity. Iran needs to muster together an intelligence network inside Israel as Israel has mustered inside Iran. With the Israeli state slowly collapsing, there is ample discontent for Iran to tap into. Iran can always pour fuel into Syria at Israel’s expense at a distance if it leverages quality covert intelligence networks inside Syria, chiefly as a deterrent to Israeli moves near Iran. Hizb’allah’s saving grace in the 2023/2024 war against Israel has been its powerful and pinpointed attacks against sensitive Israeli governmental, IDF and IAF sites, dubbed ‘Khaybar operations’. Ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones are weaknesses in Israel’s integrated anti air defense system, which is specifically built to shoot down far cruder forms of projectiles like Gaza water pipe rockets and unguided rockets. David’s Sling and the Iron Dome have been rendered futile by Hizb’allah and Iran’s advanced projectiles, and the IDF understands the pain. This has been one major reason for Israel seeking a ceasefire in Lebanon. Unless the Zionist polity feels real pain, it will continue unabated with wanton cruelty. With Iran adding more satellites in space, it could help Hizb’allah and Ansar Allah with more accurate precision targeting, dialing up the pain on Israel. But anti air defense and air assets are key in restoring balance vis-a-vis Israel.
Furthermore, attaining a nuclear deterrent arsenal is now mandatory for Iran. Anything less would be absolutely foolhardy: the Israeli bullying machine relies on its nuclear monopoly to continue with unabated bouts of bullying and an overthrow in Iran is always on its cards. Only a nuclear dipole in the region will balance out the lop-sided power dynamics. There is no way for the Ayatollahs to skirt around the issue with fatwas or any ‘moral’ concerns unless they have a death wish. The Israelis and Americans are good at killing civilians and attacking countries with little to no air force. Once an air force or air defenses are present, it severely curtails their freedom of action. This is the best antidote to the American-Jewish predilection for ‘air striking their way to victory’. What does Libya, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Palestine all have in common? They have little to no air force. Iran is not much further behind. Countries with little to no air force are prefect prey for Israeli and American bullies, who overly rely on air power projection. It is why these countries have been taken down and had their air forces destroyed or forcibly limited by the West. China too is woefully prepared for war in terms of having almost no battlefield experience. While Chinese strategists learn well from the mistakes from others, allies and foes alike, this is ultimately no substitute for hard lessons learned on the field. China has the capacity and resources to train up proxy forces all over the world and provide its own troops adequate exposure to war scenarios, for example in Ukraine, Africa and the Middle East. It will certainly give it plenty of leverage against the US and stand to provide protection to its BRI investments. Only China can muster millions of hackers and mercenaries with relative ease compared to any other nation in the world, when the going gets really tough. This is an unrealized advantage that may be useful one day in inflicting severe pain on the US. But being an insular, risk-averse superpower, it will perhaps take a long time before the Politburo understands the necessity to do so. Perhaps getting into a serious clash with the US will teach it that very lesson: that clash is coming to China whether China likes it or not. It could involve NATO shuffling ETIM Uighur terrorists from proxy forces in Syria to China’s near-abroad or a more direct American/European provocation in Asia Pacific. China may regret not taking action to liquidate ETIM terrorists in Syria while they were together in one place. The American empire always takes war to its victims one way or another. In sum, the risk-aversion of BRICS+ may need an overhaul slightly towards the riskier end of the spectrum where the West prefers to reside. There is nothing better than giving a bully a taste of his own medicine at the end of the day.

In the end, the Zionists and Western imperialists will get what they want because they monopolize the business of bad faith coercion and destruction. The real question is: how will the rest of the world react and what will they do about it? One cannot control what the other side can ultimately do. One can only control one’s reaction to it. If the goal of the other side is to destroy a holy Islamic site in Jerusalem, how would the Ummah collectively respond to such an act?
The West is unable to compete on a level-playing field with BRICS+ because BRICS+ offer something the West has never been able to achieve: win-win partnerships. The American-Jewish worldview cannot compete with the idea of win-win: there must always be a loser and a winner and the winner must humiliate and subjugate the loser. If this notion can be translated to personal relationship dynamics, it would be nothing short of a toxic relationship. As unfortunate as it sounds, this has been the imperial West’s most comfortable social contract with the rest of the world for centuries. This is at its essence what colonialism is all about. It is unsurprising then, why the Western foreign policy establishment vandalizes the world with its lucrative industry of manufacturing tensions, preventing the world at large from attaining the freedom to associate outside the domain of its ‘approval’ and haughty blackmail control matrix. The West’s messianic and immature worldview of ‘exceptionalism’ and ‘god’s chosen’ must first die before the maturation of Western foreign policy can come to pass. The rest of the globe awaits this day and until then, there will always be resistance.
